What is your signature style?

Classic Coastal Charm. Refined and meticulously styled tents and interiors with a relaxed and elevated coastal vibe that feel familiar and fresh.

How do you describe your creative approach?

With hospitality at its core, our approach to design is fluid—not one-size-fits-all. Cues from our couples and the surrounding area/venue, style, and personality are infused into each day so the event is not just a replication of a Pinterest page. We do this with high expectations—of myself, my team, and the creatives supporting the event.

Where do you search for new inspiration?

Hotels, interiors, and fashion. I find hotel design to be wildly inspiring. Bring on the color, patterns, and mixes of modern, cool, and traditional.

What do you recommend investing most in?

Phew. That's a tough one. If you're ever going to be indulgent, your wedding is the time to do it. If I had to pick and place in categories beyond that:

  1. Guest experience: more bartenders and gifting
  2. Dining experience: chairs and layered tabletop
  3. Details: event branding and stationery
  4. Production: draping and lighting
  5. Fashion: beauty and a dresser/aid

Team big or small: What type of events do you prefer?

One hundred to 150 is our sweet spot. We'll gladly go over or under, but find this creates and incredible couple & guest experience.

How far in advance should people hire a planner?

Anywhere from nine to 12 months. It's perfect for making quick decisions and moving forward through the process without lulls.

Best advice for a bride-to-be?

You'll never get this day back. Book the dream photographer! Buy the expensive dress and feel incredible in it.

What do you wish more people understood about what you do?

Trust is paramount. We're the vendor that is with you from start to finish, hence the value planners bring to the table. We know every in and out of the day. And we're on both the client and vendor's team acting as the lead and at times the middle-women.

If you weren’t a planner, what would you be?

Underwater Robotics Engineer. See website bio. ;)
