Inventory & Quality Control Manager


Mayker Events is looking for an experienced, motivated Inventory & Quality Control Manager to ensure the utmost quality of our pieces and to maintain an accurate inventory system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day warehousing operations

  • Overseeing quality control, proper handling and cleaning/repair of inventory

  • Maintaining accuracy of the items and location in the Inventory Tracking System

  • Ensuring the proper staging, loading, and unloading of furniture

  • Providing necessary training on basic furniture packing, repair, and safety

  • Designing a quality control process to inspect all incoming items for condition – clean, repair and return to inventory

  • Developing and implementing an employee incentives program

Preferred experience

  • As your primary concern will be maintaining and tracking furnishings, the ideal candidate has experience working in the furniture industry and understands how to pack, transport, and care for pieces.

  • Ideal candidate is also familiar with the event and/or home staging industries

  • Experience in a warehouse setting

  • Leadership/management experience

  • Organizational skills with acute attention to detail

  • Experience with Inventory tracking software

  • Proficient in standard computer applications, email and productivity apps

  • Ability to multi-task and manage own time effectively

  • Responsible, accountable, and loyal with an incredible work ethic
